Background
Circuit Network is a non-profit management organization
dedicated to fostering the development of contemporary and culturally
diverse artists from all diskiplines, who are creating work of high
artistic caliber, deep social import and wide cultural impact. We at
Circuit are excited to announce the launching of a new marketing and
booking tool, the interactive CD Critical Mass: A Desktop Showcase.
This dynamic approach to booking will include a culturally diverse array
of artists and groups from all diskiplines. It will include all of the
information contained in a conventional press kit, as well as a video
and/or audio presentation for each artist.
Services to the Artist
- Increased visibility
and expanded touring capabilities.
- Representation
on a national level at the Arts Presenters Booking Conference, and
through targeted mailing to a select group of international presenters,
arts managers, and press.
- Optimum exposure
by including each artist in multiple search categories.
Deadlines
and Costs to Artist
Guarantee your
space on the disk and save money, by getting your contract
and materials to us early:
- 1st Deadline
for Contract & Payment: July 15, 2003
- 1st Deadline
for Materials (see below): August 15, 2003
Cost:
- 2nd Deadline
for Contract & Payment: September 15, 2003
- 2nd Deadline
for Materials: October 15, 2003
Cost:
- $425 for artists/companies
with under $50,000 gross annual touring revenue
- $550 for artists/companies
with $50,000 - $100,000 gross annual touring revenue
- $750 for artists/companies
with over $100,000 gross annual touring revenue
The following promotional materials will be required:
- A completed submission
form including company description, touring
repertoire, residency activities, press quotes, company history, technical
rider and touring fees.
- 5-6 color or
black-and-white photos.
- Work Sample:
A one-minute high quality video edited to represent your work,
or one-minute high quality or photo slide show montage.
Criteria
for Inclusion
- Recommendation
by a presenter or producer familiar with your work.
- History of touring
to two or more venues, 50 miles or more from your home
area, or a demonstrated record of two or more years of successful
self-producing in mid-size (250+ seats) venues.
- High quality
promotional materials including photos, text, video or audio.
- Dedicated staff,
manager or group member responsible for handling presenter
inquiries and contract negotiation.
